A stunning new portrait of Janesko has just been created by renowned artist Dru Blair. Prints of this new image are now available exclusively through Janesko.com.

Additionally, this piece appears on the cover of the current issue of Air Brush-Action magazine along with part 1 of a step-by-step narrative on the creation of the painting by Dru Blair.  A signed copy of the magazine is also available.

This month I released my painting of model Aria Giovanni, titled "Hidden Secrets". Although I have completed several studies of this Italian beauty, this is the first full painting. This image is also available as a limited edition print.

Soon, we will be announcing some very exciting news regarding the third Janesko/Haut Art Wines release.

We are in the heat of the Holiday Season and we are in the holiday spirit at JFA! Check out the new painting for Christmas, "The Messenger." This image can be purchased as an 8x10 print or as a greeting card. Other new images can be viewed on the original studies page. One new original study, "Wishful" is a holiday inspired image created by Janesko and not seen until now.

It has been a while since the last update, so here is what's new:

New Original Studies Studies are the way that paintings are born! Not every sketch makes it to a painting, some continue to be reworked before the painting can be created. But there is just not enough time to paint them all. The best part is that if you love original work, this is an affordable way to start collecting Janesko. This week, there are six new studies. One is a Halloween-inspired image and another features model Aria Giovanni! Check them all out here.

eBay Auction Every once in a while we like to pump things up with an original auction. This Sunday we will feature a new original study titled"A New Beginning". We will be sending out an email Sunday with a link to the featured study. Bidding on the last few auctions have been very heated. Anything can happen, so place your bid!

A New Janesko Book Initial work has begun on a new Janesko book. Putting together a book takes quite a bit of work, but we know that books are one of the most collectable Janesko items. If you have any ideas on things you would like included in this compilation, let us know!

2008 Calendar Unfortunately, this will be the first year without a Janesko calendar since 1989. RML was the official publisher of the Janesko calendar and this year they decided to close their publishing business to pursue a new career path. Publishing a calendar takes a lot of preparation and time and time ran out for 2008. We regret that you will not have a Janesko calendar for 2008, but we hope to be with a new publisher for 2009!

I am currently working late nights in my studio to create some beautiful new images. These images will make their debut at the San Diego Comicon in July and will be posted to this site shortly after the show. Comicon will be even more interesting this year, as we will have a raffle each day for some of the most coveted Janesko merchandise. I know many of you have a full show pass, so the chance to win a Janesko will give you a reason to stop by the booth every day! Also, we have just found out that our booth number this year will be 5460 (same spot as last year) and we have added a floor layout for your convenience.

I have added another postcard to my growing collection. Check out "A Wing and a Prayer". It is also one of most popular 8x10 prints!

My first soft cover book officially sold out over the weekend. If you haven't ordered the second softcover, "Rendered", you should do it soon!

The Planet Comicon show returned to Kansas City last weekend after a one year hiatus.  It was great to get out and see the local crowd again - especially those who braved the torrential rains on Sunday.

Several new original studies made their debut at the show. A few still remain. Visit the Sketches and Studies page to see all of the new pieces still available.

The holidays are now behind us and Kansas City has been hit with a bitter cold streak. Both are great reasons to get into the studio to work on some new pieces!

Nine new original sketches and studies have been created and posted to the website. Among these new pieces are several model portraits. Along with Janesko favorites Aria Giovanni, Linda O'Neil and Linda Tran are the first ever Janesko renderings of Playmates Audra Lynn and Sandra Taylor.

The final show of the year is over.  This past weekend was a great show in Kansas City to celebrate the release of the newest Haut Art wine.  Many new pieces were unveiled at the show, including many new sketches plus an original painting and a limited edition print.

Now is a perfect time to pick up a special piece of Janesko art for that special someone on your holiday gift list.

We're back from another wonderful Comic-Con in San Diego. This show just keeps getting bigger and better. Thanks to everyone who stopped by the booth to say hello.

A special limited editon poster was created especially for sale at the 2006 San Diego Comic-Con. This poster was very popular with the attendees. For those of you not able to make it out to the show, we still have a small quantity of these posters for sale. We are selling them hand signed by Janesko for just $10! Order yours now!

In addition to the poster, there were quite a few new original paintings and studies that were unveiled at the show. Those pieces still for sale have been added to the website. Spring has finally sprung.  Janesko Fine Art is celebrating throughout the month of April with our Spring Fling promotion.  Through the end of April, all Janesko merchandise is up to 25% off.

The first NYC Comicon is history. Thanks to everyone who braved the insane lines and cold weather to come out and see my work.  I have many new sketches that were debuted at the show.  We have also just posted some more brand new sketches on the Sketches & Studies page.  Many of the new pieces feature Janesko models Linda Tran, Aria Giovanni and Dita von Teese.

People in attendance at the last two shows have seen the image for the second bottle of Janesko Wine.  While this image hasn't been officially released yet, it has already been approved by the government.  The second bottle should be released sometime later this summer.  In the meantime, the first bottle should finally be released by early April.  The wine is bottled and the labels have been printed - just a few more final details to go.  Visit the Haut Art Wines website to reserve your bottle.

We've just wrapped up 2005 and it has been a very exciting and eventful year for Janesko Fine Art.  As always, the year was filled with many new originals sketches, paintings and limited edition prints.  The biggest announcement of the year was the partnership with Haut Art Wines of Napa Valley, CA to release a Janesko-themed wine series. After much hard work, the first bottle in that series is about to be released.  In association with this project, a joint art show/wine pre-release party was held in my hometown of Kansas City.

In addition to the special Kansas City exhibition, I continued to attend my traditional conventions across the country in LA, San Diego, Chicago and Kansas City. There are plans to expand the show schedule for 2006 starting with two new shows.  This year, I will make an appearance at the Zinfandel Wine Festival in San Francisco to unveil the second wine label.  Soon after that, I will finally return to New York City for a first appearance at the New York Comic-Con in February.  Other new avenues are also being explored.  All of the latest show information can be found on the Shows page.  I always enjoy meeting my collectors old and new.
